Castle Hill Pontoon Deck
This pontoon involved several different skills and techniques to achieve the results. The pontoon was built on dam hill and involved careful precision and machine operating. With safety, our number one priority, it was key to construct this hardwood pontoon with a large amount of planning and organisation.
The pontoon is constructed in the same manner as we construct decks, although at a larger scale. Escaping drilled footing holes to engineers specifications, in which allowed us create a solid footing to bolt the posts off too. We erected the posts, attached the bearers and screwed all the hardwood decking boards. The last stage of the project was to construct a stainless steel wire handrail along the perimeter of the pontoon.
Although this Pontoon is of the larger scale, similar looking hardwood decks look incredible in the backyard of properties. A beautifully built and oiled hardwood deck, along with a stainless steel handrail can add an amazing touch to your landscape.
